Delete your account and data

You can request permanent deletion of your GulfRasta account and personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how — it takes one email, and we confirm every step.

01How to request deletion

There is currently no in-app delete button — deletion is handled by our team over email so we can verify it is really you:

  1. Open the email inbox linked to your GulfRasta account.
  2. Send an email to team@gulfrasta.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
  3. Include your full name and the phone number or email on your account.
  4. We reply to confirm your identity, then delete or anonymise your data.

Email your deletion request

Tip: sending from your registered email address speeds up verification. If you lost access to it, tell us in the message and we will verify you another way.

02What gets deleted

  • Account & profile: name, contact details, role, bio, title, availability, and preferences.
  • Documents & uploads: CVs, photos, and verification documents you uploaded.
  • Activity: job applications, saved jobs and consultants, inquiries, chat messages, and notification history.
  • Device tokens: push-notification tokens so you stop receiving alerts.

03What we must keep

A small amount of information may be kept where the law requires it — for example, limited transaction or safety records for fraud prevention and legal compliance. Anything kept is never used for marketing and is deleted as soon as the legal retention period ends.

04Timeline

  • We confirm receipt of your request and verify your identity.
  • Verified requests are completed within 30 days.
  • We email you once deletion is complete.
