01Acceptance of these terms
By registering for an account, downloading the GulfRasta app, accessing the website, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
02About the service
GulfRasta is a digital platform that brings together three kinds of users — job seekers, employers, and consultants — to support jobs, hiring, visa processing, study abroad, and travel to the Gulf region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain) and beyond.
The platform provides tools including job search and applications, job posting and applicant management, consultant profiles and service listings, inquiries and in-app chat, saved items, notifications, and a country directory.
03Eligibility
You may use the service only if you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
04Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and you must keep your account information up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at team@gulfrasta.com.
- Each account is for a single user. You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
- We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, that appear to be fraudulent, or that we reasonably believe compromise the integrity or safety of the platform.
- Verification of your identity, documents, or organisation may be required before certain features become available, and approval is at our discretion.
05Roles on the platform
When you register, you choose a role. You may maintain a single profile at a time, and switching roles is handled within the app.
- Job seekers can browse and search jobs by country, category, and type; view job details; save jobs; apply with a CV and cover note; browse consultant profiles; send inquiries; and manage their profile and notifications.
- Employers can post and manage job listings, view and review applicants, update application statuses, and manage their company profile and hiring dashboard.
- Consultants can create and manage service listings (for example, visa processing, study consulting, and travel booking), apply for verification, respond to inquiries, and manage their profile and dashboard.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information, documents, or credentials.
- Posting fake jobs, fake services, or listings that misrepresent the terms, wages, or nature of a role or service.
- Harassing, threatening, discriminating against, or defrauding any user.
- Collecting user data without permission, including scraping the platform.
- Attempting to access other users' accounts, systems, or data without authorisation.
- Uploading malicious software, or interfering with the operation of the platform.
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the laws of your country of residence, your destination country, or applicable labour and immigration law.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without notice where appropriate.
07User content
You retain ownership of the content you post on the platform, including your profile information, CVs, documents, job listings, and service listings. By posting content, you grant GulfRasta a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You confirm that the content you post belongs to you or that you have the right to post it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything you post.
08Applications, hiring, and services
- Facilitation only: GulfRasta is a technology platform that facilitates connections. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, visa agency, travel agency, or educational institution, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with another user.
- Job applications: when you apply to a job, your application and attached documents are shared with the relevant employer. Employers decide whether to progress an application, and we cannot guarantee that you will be considered, shortlisted, or hired.
- Employer conduct: employers are responsible for the accuracy of their job listings, for lawful hiring practices, and for the treatment of applicants.
- Consultant services: consultants are independent and are responsible for the quality and legality of the services they offer. Job seekers and employers engaging a consultant do so directly with that consultant.
- Due diligence: while we verify what we can and mark verified users, we do not independently verify every claim, credential, or outcome, and you remain responsible for your own due diligence.
09Fees, payments, and refunds
The App is currently available to download free of charge. Certain features or services offered by employers, consultants, or third-party providers may involve fees in the future. Any such fees, and the applicable terms, will be clearly presented to you in the App before you are charged. Payments for third-party services are governed by our Refund Policy and by the terms of the provider offering the service.
10Verification
GulfRasta offers a verification process for consultants and employers, which may require you to submit supporting documents. Submission of documents does not guarantee approval. Verification reflects the checks we perform and is not a guarantee of a person's identity, credentials, or conduct. We may remove a verified status at any time if we determine the verification no longer holds.
11Intellectual property
The GulfRasta name, logo, branding, design, software, and all content we create (including text, graphics, and interfaces) are the property of GulfRasta or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or software without our prior written consent. You may not use the GulfRasta name or logo in any way that suggests endorsement by us.
12Disclaimers
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- We do not guarantee that any job application will succeed, that any visa will be granted, that any admission or travel booking will be confirmed, or that any outcome promised by a user or third party will occur.
- Content posted by users reflects the views of those users, not of GulfRasta. See our Disclaimer for further detail.
13Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GulfRasta and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
14Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GulfRasta and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) content you post; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15Termination and suspension
- You may stop using the service at any time. To permanently delete your account and personal data, email privacy@gulfrasta.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" (or contact team@gulfrasta.com); we process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or unlawful activity, or if required by law. Where possible, we will notify you in advance.
- On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. If you continue to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service and delete your account.
17Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GulfRasta is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. We encourage you to contact us first at team@gulfrasta.com if you have a dispute, so that we can try to resolve it amicably. Any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
